After four weeks of calling, the summer 2016 telephone campaign came to a close at the end of June with an amazing £110,000 being pledged. Our brilliant team of students spoke to over 1,500 alumni about their time at Brunel and asked them if they would be willing to support the Future50 Fund.
The money raised will enable us to support hundreds of students during their time at Brunel. Through your support of the Future50 Fund we are able to help -

50 Sports stars through the Sports Scholarships Scheme
50 Music Award Scholars
Fundraising aside, the students enjoyed some great conversations updating alumni on events planned for our 50th anniversary year as well as exchanging stories about Brunel past and present.
Paige Boateng, a second year 
Biomedical Science student, was part of this year’s calling team and thoroughly enjoyed her time as a campaign caller.
“It has been such an exciting experience for me to talk to alumni and hear about their time at Brunel whilst celebrating Brunel’s 50th Anniversary!
The campaign was perfect for me because it is on campus, has variety of shifts and is really fun! I used this opportunity to gain industry advice from alumni who work across the UK in various careers. I could not personally think of anything better than gaining real life career advice from graduates who have
been in our position before. Surprisingly I was even able to network while working! I spent my time making industry links and finding out how they ended
up in their current position. As a result, many alumni were more than happy to get involved and support Brunel’s Future50 Appeal because of the great conversations we had.”
